Job Title: Internet Programmer

Job Duties:

  • Identifies user requirements by researching and analyzing user needs, preferences, objectives, and working methods; studying how users consume content, including data categorization and labeling; meeting with focus groups.
  • Implements information architecture by preparing paper and interactive prototypes and mockups including page layout and navigational elements; coordinating with Web Producer and Production Developer to integrate site concept, visual design, writing, interface, and navigational structure; documenting structure and processes.
  • Performs technical work responsible for developing and configuring forms, reports, and business processes within the client’s software implementation
  • Perform SQL Server database queries and updates
  • Resolve technical problems related to the client’s software implementation. Consult with users and conduct information assessments to determine user needs and define system requirements
  • Write and/or maintain up-to-date documentation relating to business requirements, database design, and process implementation. Database design.
  • Develop front-end user interfaces based on documented requirements.
  • Develop Adobe forms and reports with JavaScript.
  • Setup workflows with Adobe LiveCycle Manager and route adobe forms.
  • Assist in developing training programs related to distributed processing operations and procedures
  • Use Maven Scripts for building application jar files; design and implement web based custom portal applications using Java EE technologies; and working with Java; Struts2, Tiles, Spring, JavaScript, Oracle 11g HTML/CSS, JQuery, Hibernate, and UML.
  • Use content management software such as Drupal and manage WEB applications.
  • Use Web Technologies, protocols, and tools including Adobe Dreamweaver; Microsoft Expressions, and Microsoft SharePoint, Drupal CMS, and Cherwell.
  • Internet programming languages including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP; application development; computer graphic and multimedia design;
  • Develop applications in Java, .NET and/or in ASP technologies.
  • Structure, develop, and implement interactive corporate websites; install, upgrade, and maintaining web servers and associated operating systems, including IIS and Apache;
  • Database development, including Oracle and MySQL; ADA and 508 compliance; update web pages to ensure accuracy and currency;
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with existing web pages to ensure accuracy and sites;
  • Work with database administrator to design, develop, and update databases as they relate to web applications;
  • Ensure security of all web sites and related applications; monitor and report on web site traffic and performance.
Work Schedule:
Daily Work Schedule: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.// 40 Hours per week

Education:
Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign equivalent) in Computer Science.

Experience:
2 years of experience as a Software Developer; Experience to include, 24 months experience in using Maven Scripts for building application jar files; design and implement web based custom portal applications using Java EE technologies; and working with Java; Struts2, Tiles, Spring,JavaScript, Oracle 11g HTML/CSS, JQuery, Hibernate, and UML.
